Micrometer - This tool is used to
measure engine parts that are can be
affected by wear (such as the cylinder
bore or piston) This is used when the
greatest precision is required down to
1/10,000 of an inch.

diameter of the cylinder. (Use the
gauges and then measure the gauge
with the micrometer)

gap in the spark plug and distance
between the magneto and the flywheel.
They measure very small spaces
precisely.
